CSIRO NATIONAL COLLECTIONS BUILDING

CSIRO National Collections Building

Clunies Ross Street

Black Mountain ACT

Australia

CSIRO’s new Diversity facility sets a benchmark for preserving and studying Australia’s biodiversity. Housing more than 13 million specimens in advanced, bushfire and pest resistant vaults, it combines cutting edge laboratories, digitisation facilities and global research access.

FrameLight was proud to contribute to this landmark project by supplying and integrating IFF rail systems, BB&S fixtures and DoPchoice SnapBags, ensuring researchers have precise, adaptable lighting for their vital work. The lighting systems are used to document and digitise the physical collection, helping to preserve, catalogue and share it online with researchers and citizen scientists.

This facility is more than a building. It is a commitment to protecting our environment and unlocking new scientific discoveries.
