Description

C3 is a 3000W full-colour LED Fresnel, and the first fixture in a new product line from Creamsource. It gives you the things you want from a Fresnel — a controllable beam, smooth roll-off, and crisp, defined shadows — with a few less traditional ideas inside.

The square Fresnel stays fixed while the light engine moves behind it, taking the beam from 18° to 60°. At full spot, C3 delivers an average 10,000 lux at 10 metres, with notably high efficiency for a point source of this scale. The ballast is built in, the housing is IP65-rated, and an integrated cage gives you plenty of options for handling and rigging.

Panels, Fresnels, hard light, soft light. They all have their place. The fun is in choosing what the shot calls for. C3 gives you one more for the kit.
